For us, the worth of protagonist Will in
Dark Void isn't measured by his strengths as human being, but really just his
awesome jetpacking. Airtight Games wants us to know there's more to like about the guy and aimed to make Will more in line with the typical Japanese game protagonist -- more believable and less of a "caricature."

Nikola Tesla ended up in the game. Tesla is just one cool dude, whether he's being played by
David Bowie, building
super awesome defense towers for the Russians, or -- in the case of
Dark Void -- spearheading an entire rebellion by inventing jetpacks and gigantic airships.
