Warriors of the Lost Empire picked up for European gamers

Apparently, it's no secret that Lost Regnum didn't go over very well in Japan once it was released on the PSP. Something about it does seem a little too western -- we mean that the Japanese probably wouldn't welcome something like Wizardry very warmly, despite its success in the US.

Poorly received games in Japan usually don't get localized elsewhere, but European publisher Mercury Games picked this one up and renamed it Warriors of the Lost Empire -- so Europe will get its hands on another dungeon-crawling hack n' slash action RPG and the US can import it if they really want. The title doesn't look that bad, really, so pehaps it really just wasn't the type of game for the Japanese audience? We'll scour for some more information and let you know if it's something to pay heed to.
