Astro Tripper dev working on new PSN game: Gemini Rings

PomPom Games, creators of the PSN-exclusive Astro Tripper, are working on yet another downloadable title for PS3. Gemini Rings won't be a shoot-em-up like its predecessor, but PomPom is promising "stuff gets blown up." GamerBytes postulates that the game will follow a formula similar to PSP's Every Extend Extra or Geometry Wars 2's Pacifist mode.

No additional details are available yet, but we're eager to find out more. PomPom's Astro Tripper wasn't the best game on PSN, but it was easily worth its affordable $5 asking price.
